Francisco Bedeschi
Photographing and exploring the beauty of Patagonia since 1992
Francisco Bedeschi is 56 and lives in Patagonia since 1992. He studied and lived in Buenos Aires until 1988. After spending three years traveling
and working throughout Europe, he was reading stories from South America that brought his adventurous and romantic spirit to San Martin de los Andes.
At first he worked as a photo journalist for Rio Negro newspaper, and then worked for Clarín, La Nación and some magazines as Noticias and Gente, among others.
It was in 1998 that he moved to Bariloche to work for Perfil newspaper as a correspondent.
In 2001 he finished working as a photo journalist and, captured by the beauty of fly fishing, he started producing his first book of photographs, "Flyfishing patagonia, the lake district".

For 20 years he produced more than 15 photography books in Patagonia Argentina, Chile, Mexico and Uruguay for twenty years. He also produced some photography work for various companies and farms.
He traveled through Patagonia as no one has before, flying to the most remote spots, sailing the most inaccessible rivers and lakes.
He became an expert of the region.
Published Books
In 2008, he accepted the challenge of co-directing the AIRE Magazine. Magazine leader in tourism of Patagonia, travels with his editorial team to all corners of Patagonia,
providing excellent stories, photographs and useful data. AIRE continues to grow and position itself in Patagonia as a magazine of luxurious printing and carefully editing,
which is distributed in exclusive points in the area.

Services
The photos printed by Francisco Bedeschi are sold in certified limited editions of 21 copies each.
Printing is done under the Giclee method. This extremely high quality inkjet process enables the photographs to endure over time as oil painting.
Printing is carried out in acid-free paper brand Canson or Hahnemuhle. Under this process, high quality copies are obtained following museum standards.
Through the years Francisco has done a lot of different productions.
He has participated with his photographs of Patagonia for the Techint 2021 calendar that commemorates Agostino Rocca (1945-2001).
He has also published part of his work in the IN PATAGONIA booklets developed by the Techint Company to promote love for Patagonia, its people and its history.
He has taken photographs in special productions for the company Antares Naviera SA. and Turisur Hotel Puerto Blest.
For hotels and lodges such as Arelauquen, Uman Lodge, Inacayal, Puyuhuapi and Nómades. Other productions were for fields and ranches such as Baniyas Hunting,
Estancia María, Las Margaritas; chocolate shops like Rapanui; tourist complexes such as El Mercado; and photographic productions in general for Arnet Winter Tour, Quilmes, Personal and Claro among others.

In 2002, he made and edited his first photography book, "Flyfishing Patagonia, The lake district". Followed by "Flyfishing Patagonia,
The South"; "Caribbean Flyfishing" and Red Deer. Among the most recent editions of it are: "Patagonia from the air", "Images and stories of Patagonia",
"Las Margaritas" and "Villa La Angostura".
And finally his book "Terra Incógnita, Southern Patagonian Ice Field" which will be published at the end of 2024. It will be a unique book, fully in color
with 200 impressive aerial photos of the most appreciated corners of the Southern Patagonian Ice Field. More than 50 hours of flight
in planes and helicopters, in all seasons of the year.
